Paramedic and EMT salaries by state and employer

What paramedics and EMTs earn at public ambulance services: what full-year staff actually earned, overtime included, next to the official pay range where the employer publishes one, with firefighter-paramedics ($188,869 on average in California) counted on their own. So far the site covers every California city, county, fire district and health care district with an ambulance service; in New York, the FDNY's Emergency Medical Service and Nassau County's police medics; in Utah, the cities, counties, fire districts and ambulance districts; in Kentucky, Louisville Metro EMS. Private ambulance companies aren't public employers, so they aren't included.

Paramedic and EMT pay in more states, as we collect the data

This page will compare paramedic and EMT pay across states. For now it covers every California city, county, fire district and health care district with an ambulance service; in New York, the FDNY's Emergency Medical Service and Nassau County's police medics; in Utah, the cities, counties, fire districts and ambulance districts; in Kentucky, Louisville Metro EMS. Each state publishes public pay differently, so we add states one at a time, after checking their files.

Until then, each state's page has everything we've published so far.
